Biography

Nigel Leehane has ten years' experience as a consultant and is responsible for Casella Stanger's environmental management systems. He has considerable experience of environmental management systems and auditing, including ISO 14001 certification audits, in a wide range of sectors. He is an advisor specializing in EMS and waste management to the UK government's Environment and Energy Helpline. He has managed environmental assessment projects for a range of developments and is an approved IEMA trainer. Prior to entering consultancy, he worked in the mineral extraction sector. He has worked in countries in the Far East, the CIS and Eastern and Western Europe for a range of clients including the World Bank, European Commission and multi-national corporations.
