Steve Robinson is Chief Executive of The Environment Council. Since joining in 1988, Steve has played a leading role in developing The Environment Council as a major UK environment problem-solving forum. He has been actively involved in promoting the benefits of environment policy to business and has advised a number of voluntary and private sector organisations on environmental policy. Currently he is working on the ways sustainable business can contribute to sustainable development. He has acted as honest broker in a number of conflict situations and has helped initiate and manage projects involving public sector, private sector and NGO interests. He has lectured widely in the UK and also in Paris, Washington, Buenos Aires and Geneva on environmental issues.

Richard Harris has been involved in environmental management work for over ten years, with a focus on Local Agenda 21, consensus building and dialogue management for sustainable development. He has designed and facilitated interactive meetings for both small and large groups of delegates, on themes as diverse as waste management, bio-diversity and anti poverty initiatives.
