Paul Johnson is a director of Arup and a principal of Arup Environmental, the firm's specialist consultancy. He is an environmental scientist, chartered biologist and chartered town planner. He has some 30 years' experience in the environmental arena drawn from academic, public and private sectors. He has been with Arup for the past 16 years during which time he has been instrumental in initiating and developing Arup Environmental into one of the UK's leading environmental consultancies. For the past 6 years he has been leading the environmental design and management work on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link project, the UK's largest active engineering project.
