Debbie Marock joined The Environment Council in November 2000. Her role as governance and resources team co-coordinator involves managing issues in a wide range of areas. She has co-ordinated the CIRIA SAFEGROUNDS nuclear contaminated land project and the Welsh Development Agency's Aberaman Phurnacite Project. She has also co-ordinated the World Business Council for Sustainable Development's, 'Towards a Sustainable Cement Industry' stakeholder dialogue. She is currently project managing the 'Waste Tyres' stakeholder dialogue in partnership with the Environment Agency. Prior to joining The Environment Council, she worked for the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry in South Africa on their National Water Conservation Campaign and on the BP Global Social Performance team. She has an MSc in Environmental Science from London University.
