Thomas Zitrides is president of Bioscience, Inc. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked for Shell Chemical Company, Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. and was president of Cytox/Polybac Corporation before he founded Bioscience, Inc in 1984. Over the last 23 years he has published numerous technical papers at environmental conferences all over the world on subjects relating to the use of specialised microbes in wastewater treatment plants, bioaugmentation of contaminated soils and the monitoring of wastewater and wastewater treatment systems. He has also published articles in key US environmental magazines such as The National Environmental Journal and Pollution Engineering.
