We provide our customers with a prompt and accurate waste analysis service.
Services for Waste Management Industry
Our UKAS accredited laboratory can help you monitor the chemical composition of your waste products and discharges using the very latest in analytical and testing techniques to ensure regulatory compliance.
Our extensive range of services includes:
- On-site sampling of residues collected from waste-to-energy plant and landfill sites for subsequent analysis
- Analysis of dioxins and furans, PCBs, PAHs, VOCs, metals and other inorganics and elemental analysis (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen etc.)
- Analysis of ground water, surface water and landfill leachates
- Stack emissions monitoring, ash and spent lime analysis, background surveys for ambient air/soil/foliage
- Landfill gas monitoring and monitoring of emissions from landfill gas engines and flares

- Pesticides and Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) by GC/MS
- Volatile organic compounds (VOC) in water by purge and trap GC/MS
- VOC in air by thermal desorption GC/MS or direct injection GC/MS
- Semi-volatile and volatile suites using GC/MS
Sample matrices include:
- Stack emissions (e.g. XAD-2 resin)
- Ambient air (e.g. ATD tube)
- Vegetation (e.g. grass or crops)
- Food (animal and human)
- Water (potable and waste)
- Waste (solid and liquid)
- Ashes (fly and bottom ash)
- Blood
- Milk
