SUPER PHOS is a liquid macro nutrient that is fed into wastewater treatment streams to feed phosphorous deficient microbes.
SUPER PHOS is an organically complexed form of phosphate which is designed to prevent the premature formation of insoluble phosphorous precipitates with the result of making more phosphorous available to wastewater microbes so less phosphorous is used and less phosphorous is discharged to receiving waters.
SUPER PHOS is many times more bio-available than regular phosphorous compounds because it is protected by carbon molecules from tying up in water.
Typically 1/4th to 1/10th the amount of SUPER PHOS is used compared to common grade agricultural type green 0-50-0 phosphoric acid fertilizers. This means reduced costs, easier handling, and greater bioavailability that result in better wastewater treatment plant performance. |
