Database on funds for the facilitated orientation in the extensive scenery of funds

In times of globalization, international economic co-operations are becoming more and more natural. Companies in industrial nations have know-how and technologies, but their conventional markets are already mostly saturated. At the same time, many emerging and development countries work actively on a development of their political and economical basic order by opening up to foreign investment. Environmental and infrastructure projects are regarded as significant since they fight he structural reasons of poverty.

Chances are opening up not only for transnational companies, but also for small and medium-sized companies which are a driving force for economic development and economic prosperity. But under the signs of globalization, especially those small and medium-sized companies lack of structures and capital to keep up with in international business and stand up to the competitors from abroad respectively.

To overcome these barriers and to support the process of technology transfer, the German Federal Government, the German states and the European Union (EU) as well as international organisations put a great sum of funds to disposal. Yet, these funds are ``hidden`` in a confusing multitude of programmes. Hence, possibilities are not exhausted. Frequently, the companies do not run short of ideas but of rapidly available und usable information and the knowledge on the suitable programme.

The EITEP database on funds primarily serves to the purpose of giving a tool to the companies of energy and water to

  • facilitate the orientation in the extensive scenery of funds,
  • to speed up the access to single funds,
  • to obtain an optimum quota on subsidies for project application,
  • To directly chose the correct contacts.

Our concern is to present a first overview of existing funds. Through EITEP, all necessary information on the programmes can be called up. Additionally, we help you during application and dealing with.

EITEP realises information and training programmes for the transfer of technical standards

Transfer of Technical Standards
Often, other technical standards and norms with different requirements for products and service are valid in foreign markets than at home.

How do you adapt your offer to the technical requirements abroad?

The German set of laws and technical standards meets interest in all regions of the world because of its completeness and quality. Also to prevent from price dumping by low quality and environmental standards, EITEP endeavors to transfer the German set of standards to any country interested. We realize information and training measures for the transfer of the set of technical standards.

Liaison missions for the distribution of products and services

The rapidly growing emerging and development countries of this world work with high pressure on the development of their infrastructure.

Here, the areas of energy, water and environmental protection enjoy priority. China alone has planned more than 50 billion € of investments per year in an ambitious development concept for these areas. Many times, know-how and capital are missing on-site. In the industry nations, know-how and capital are existing. In times of globalization, concentration and bundling is necessary to also be successful with the small and medium-sized structure which so far has been successful in Germany. The co-operation partner of DVGW, EITEP, supports and accompanies German companies in international business. Apart from the establishment of world wide networks, we offer deepening marketing support in key regions.

Every company entering new markets is in need of actual information on market developments and contacts to decision-makers.

  • How do you present your business interests to local decision-makers?
  • How do you demonstrate the efficiency of your product and service on-site?
  • How do you organize your acquisitions on-site?

The EITEP Ltd. keeps co-operation agreements with trade and industry associations in key regions. In Asia and the Arabian area, these cooperations already have a long tradition. In Central and East Europe as well as the European area, agreements are in the final stages. Thus, we are able to supply you with the latest developments in your target region. Besides, these co-operations open up doors to leading politicians and industrialists. Moreover, many delegations tours and local co-operation events can be used for establishing contacts. For convincing decision-makers, real plants ``to touch`` are often needed. The office in Beijing is already working successfully. In Moscow and Dubai, liaison missions will be opening soon.

EITEP-Activities in China

Liaison Mission in Beijing with a local partner

Along with the Chinese partner company Orient Tonghua Technology Co., Ltd., EITEP is able to offer qualified assistance for establishing contacts between Chinese and German companies, associations and ministries. The frame of support is extended continually.

Apart from carrying out contact forums, the preparation of a co-operation with the CAS China Association for Standardization is at the forefront. Furthermore, the office functions as a trade mission for several small and medium-sized companies. This association was founded with the aid of EITEP/DVGW by Chinese engineers who were trained in Germany. All in all, 55 Chinese state scholars of engineering who were intensively trained for one year in Germany over the last couple of years have established the association to support the co-operation between the two countries and to exchange their experiences.
