EQuIS Data Qualification Module (DQM)
EQuIS DQM performs data review and validation in accordance to quantifiable sections of the EPA Functional Guidelines and CLP programs, as well as analytical program requirements from other agencies. DQM checks for problem data relating to analytical holding times, surrogate recoveries, accuracy, precision, high moisture content, blank contamination, duplicated data, illogical numbers, invalid units, and more.
EQuIS DQM can dramatically cut the costs for third party validation, and represents a dramatic change in the way data are validated.
The EQuIS Data Qualification Module (DQM) allows EQuIS users to make rapid assessments regarding the quality of their environmental data. DQM is based on the USEPA National Functional Guidelines for Organic and Inorganic Data Review and allows configuration for consideration of non-CLP methodology. EQuIS DQM give you the tools to perform a level II data review in minutes rather than day.
The EQuIS Data Qualification Module (DQM) allows EQuIS users to make rapid assessments regarding the quality of their environmental data written in Visual Basic.
DQM provides immediate feedback for problem conditions including:
- Blank contamination
- Accuracy and precision
- Surrogate recovery
- Holding times (Both EPA and CLP)
- High moisture content
- Erroneous units
- Impossible numbers
EQuIS Geology
EQuIS Geology is the new standard for managing environmental geology data. Used around the world by regulators, consultants, and industrial companies, EQuIS Geology makes accessing, analyzing, and viewing subsurface data easy and efficient. Benefits are realized from small sites that may require only a few borehole logs to large remediation projects that involve geologic cross-sections, groundwater models, fate and transport, solid models, contours, and reports. EQuIS Geology eliminates the tedious and error-prone management tasks that often exist when data are on paper or in separate spreadsheets.
EQuIS Geology makes exporting your data to many industry-standard tools for visualization and analysis a snap. Your investment in such tools is protected because EQuIS not only works with these tools, but allows you to use them more efficiently. Instead of worrying about file formats and moving your data between tools, you can concentrate on science and engineering. In addition to the many powerful data exports and interfaces, it is easy to load data into EQuIS Geology. Several exhaustive and simple data formats (EDDs) are included. Custom formats can be created on-the-fly to work with the way your data are received. EQuIS Geology also reads native data formats such as GMS borehole files and gINT project databases.
EQuIS Geology 3 is the new standard for managing environmental geology data. EQuIS Geology eliminates the tedious and error prone management tasks that often exist when data are on paper or in separate spreadsheets.
The EQuIS ArcView GIS Interface facilitates data management and analysis in a GIS environment with unparalleled integration and ease of use. View lithology data in 2D or 3D, create borehole logs, build solid models, cut cross-sections, display plumes and calibrate flow models. Load data once, and use it over and over again. There`s no easier way to manage, analyze, and visualize geologic data!
Multiple Geologic Units
EQuIS Geology supports up to five completely user-definable geologic units. While the driller`s interpretation is important and must be preserved for borehole logs, building a regional model using many discrete layers may be inappropriate or impossible.
Geologic units may be assigned manually or using automated tools based on color, material type, or other parameters. Modeling, borehole logs, and other types of visualization and analysis may then be conducted using the default lithology or any defined geologic unit.
Well Installation
EQuIS Geology is not only for subsurface remediation data. The comprehensive database structure is designed to support the reporting requirements of regulatory water agencies.
The database is an open, non-proprietary structure. Thus, it is easy to make modifications and customize to your specific needs.
Scalability
EQuIS can be implemented as a single-user or a multi-user network setup. An Enterprise (SQL Server/Oracle) version is available for wide area deployment.
