BioCritters comprises a consortium of naturally-occurring microbes found in soil and water throughout the world. All the microbes in BioCritters are found in the Berges Manual. The by-products of the bioremediation process are carbon dioxide, water and trace elements of fatty acids.
BioCritters are formulated to degrade specific contaminants and nothing else. The amount of BioCritters used is based on the estimation of the quantity of contaminant. Once the contaminant is cleaned, the BioCritters` food source is gone and they become inert. If there were another spill, the inert BioCritters would automatically revive. Warm weather will not affect the efficacy of BioCritters. Freezing temperatures rupture the cell walls of the microbes, although even freezing temperatures do not necessarily preclude a winter BioTreatment. Catalina BioSolutions has applied BioCritters in blizzards with excellent results by inoculating below the frost line where bioremediation can still occur.

Feasibility Test
Free of charge, we will determine whether or not bioremediation is a feasible option for your particular contaminant. You will receive an honest and accurate assessment as to whether your site can be cleaned.
BioTreatability Study
The BioTreatability Study will furnish you with 3 points on a curve to help you determine the effectiveness and efficiency of Catalina BioSolutions BioTreatment System on your site. When you send us a small sample of the contaminant, we will inoculate the sample with 3 different blends of BioCritters, and then send the treated samples back to you at the 30-day and 60-day marks for your own lab analyses. (This way, you can feel confident that you are getting reliable results from your own lab.) The added advantage of Catalina BioSolutions` BioTreatability Study is that the cost of the study will be credited toward your purchase of product and/or services. Inoculation Services
Catalina BioSolutions` Inoculation Services include mixing the BioCritters on site, training your personnel as needed and performing one or more of the inoculations. This option does not include any site work.
Full Service Bioremediation
Catalina BioSolutions provides Full Service Bioremediation (in situ or ex situ) including: initial lab analyses; plate counts and lab tests throughout the project; inoculations and site work until the site reaches the required action levels; and the final lab analyses.
Photomicrography
Catalina BioSolutions can take digital photographs through a microscope with a 400X lense then e mail you the pictures of samples that you provide to us. This way you can actually see what you have. We can also print them out. This would be an excellent marketing tool for you.
