MWH has been performing MIB-Geosmin analysis for clients across the United States over 10 years, and co-authored one of the first papers on the use of SPME for this analysis, to provide faster and less costly information to clients than historical methods.
This ultra sensitive method allows you to obtain analytical results in the low part per trillion (ppt) range, below the odor threshold for these two chemicals. This helps to let you proactively treat waters before consumers complain about objectionable musty taste and odor.
