MISSION
TriCon Environmental, Inc.'s mission is to provide clients with high quality environmental, industrial hygiene, safety and training services through personal and professional commitment that supports the profitable growth of our customers thus, guaranteeing our continued success.

BACKGROUND
TriCon began in 1990 as a small environmental, safety and health services company in Auburn, Alabama. Through success and managed growth, the company today operates from six regional offices in three states. TriCon provides environmental, industrial hygiene, safety and training services to industry, government and academic institutions nationwide.

The company's professional engineers, industrial hygienists, safety engineers and certified environmental trainers are experienced in (1) determining a client's current situation relative to the regulations and (2) outlining the actions required to obtain compliance. TriCon possesses special expertise in achieving compliance with EPA, OSHA and DOT regulations concerning the environment, employee health and safety and transportation of hazardous materials.

QUALITY ASSURANCE/ CONTROL
TriCon's Quality Assurance and Control (QAC) Program is one of the most important factors contributing to client satisfaction and continued professional success. The QAC Program consists of a formal professional-advancement program for qualified personnel to achieve Principal status.

TriCon strives for continuous improvement and individual involvement while recognizing the importance of safety, morale, environment, community, and personal development of all its employees. The QAC Program is implemented through polices, procedures, internal audits and client evaluations and feedback.

Emergency Operations Plan Revision Support Service
Approach:

• Integrates elements of NFPA 1600 Standard on Emergency Management for Public and Private Sector Organizations.
• Provides a CD format that is indexed in order for you to make changes and produce your own CD after the contract terminates.
• Includes a one-year free service of EM Assist – EOC Library and Public Gateway to the Internet. This is a thoroughly-researched reference library that contains over 8,000 downloaded documents and 30,000 links.
• Interactive – We will prepare slide presentations for you to brief Response Organizations on organization of plan and concept of operations, or if you choose we will do the briefing.
• Concept of Operations that we recommend is based on ESF Support structure of Federal Response Plan; Incident Command System; Unified Command and Levels of Response. Support Services Include:
• Authorities Section – Provides copies of applicable federal and state laws that are related to emergency management in Alabama.
• Support Documents – Contains documents developed by the Federal Government that provide guidelines and guidance on specific functional and hazard areas.
• We recommend the EOP be organized in a format and structure similar to the 12 primary annexes of the Federal Response Plan. We also recommend developing11 other support annexes for a complete EOP.

• Personnel trained, equipped, and experienced in confined space and rescue and industrial rescue applications (minimum 120 hours training).
• OSHA training requirements include Self-Rescue, DOT, PPE, breathing equipment, and HAZMAT.
• OSHA qualified in retrieval/rescue, attendant, entry supervisor, and entrant.
• $3 million general liability and workers compensation for all personnel.
• EMT-P certified.
• This program has been developed and is currently managed by Sam Hansen. Mr. Hansen is nationally recognized for his expertise and training knowledge in all applications of industrial rescue operations including the Incident Command System.
