COD & BOD Equipment & Consumables
BODTRAK APPARATUS: UNATTENDED BOD ANALYSIS
The BODTrak™ Apparatus features easy set up, quick sample preparation, and no titrations or dilutions, the instrument directly measures oxygen consumed by the sample.
The BODTrak apparatus stirs, monitors and shuts-off automatically. Simply mix a measured sample of wastewater and a BOD Nutrient Buffer Pillow in each BOD bottle. Connect the six BOD bottles to the instrument`s pressure sensors, select a measurement range, and incubate. You can select one of four ranges: 0 to 35mg/L, 0 to 70mg/L, 0 to 350mg/L or 0 to 700mg/L. You can also select a duration time of five, seven or 10 days.
Track BOD Results: At any time during the test you can check the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) rate by looking at the instrument`s LCD graphical display. The display shows the time, start date, test duration, and current BOD value in mg/L. To review the data in detail, move a cursor along the BOD curve.

COD REAGENT VIALS
Save Time, Space and Money: The Hach COD test takes less equipment, space and maintenance than either BOD or open reflux COD tests. Switching from the macro method to Hach will result in cost savings almost immediately.
Respond Quickly To Changing Conditions: The Hach COD test allows rapid response to changing operational conditions. Operators or laboratory personnel can complete COD tests quickly and accurately any time of the day or night, and take corrective action before serious problems develop.
Generally, COD is preferred to BOD because results are more reproducible and are available in two hours rather than five days. Also, COD is a better indicator of organics pollutants in industrial wastewater with heavy metals and cyanides.

It automatically corrects for altitude, barometric pressure and salinity after you key in the values.
