Contact Details

Black and Veatch, water and environment consultant, provides efficient water and waste water treatment solutions through methods like biological nutrient removal, nanofiltration, filtration, secondary filtration etc.

Black and Veatch incorporates microfiltration, waste water filtration, industrial water filtration into the design processes to remove potential contaminants from water and waste water. Design methods also involve treating the surface water through membrane filtration along with chemical disinfection.

The water management solutions include:

Water resource management

Everything from desalination through wastewater, clean water, sludge treatment/handling, incineration, compressed air systems, pumping systems, valves, surge suppression to corrosion mitigation and plant optimization are covered as part water resource management processes.

Black and Veatch also develops innovative and resourceful designs for dams, water abstraction schemes, raw water transfer schemes using long distance pipelines and canals to alleviate drought.

Water distribution

Black and Veatch provides solutions for networks of all sizes are offered including all aspects of modeling and the design of service & storage reservoirs.

Water treatment plants with expertise in cryptosporidium control provide solutions on water quality, leakage, metering and billings.

Wastewater

Black and Veatch has solutions to wastewater collection systems, wastewater treatment problems, sludge treatment and the management of the disposal/reuse routes and utilize urban pollution management techniques for providing solutions to Combined Sewer Overflows.

State-of-the art microtunnelling and pipe-relining techniques are deployed for infrastructural renewal.

Computer modeling systems are used to simulate the operation of sewerage and drainage systems in drainage area plans.

Black and Veatch uses sophisticated and immaculate processes to address water and waste water treatment and filtration problems.

Few of them are:

  • Reverse Osmosis (RO): reclaims industrial process water, treating it to potable standards
  • Biological nutrient removal: removes nutrients, including phosphorus and nitrogen, to the highest degree
  • Industrial process-water-treatment facility (IPWTF): capable of treating 2.3 million gallons of water per day

Nanofiltration membranes:  uses significantly lower operating pressures, keeping energy costs low. Treats reclaimed water to a level exceeding drinking water standards
