Biography
Dr Rob Tinch is Lecturer in Ecological and Environmental Economics in the School for Environmental Sciences and Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment at the University of East Anglia. In these roles, he researches environmental valuation, transport and waste economics and policy, and resource management under uncertainty. Currently, Tinch is principle investigator on a European Union project studying the valuation of environmental and economic impacts of demersal fishing, while working on simulation modelling and valuation of waste management futures and the evaluation of1management strategies for fluctuating fisheries. He also has a wide range of experience in consultancy in these fields and is Chair of the Norfolk Waste Trust.
