Biography

David Teal is a chartered civil engineer with wide experience in renewable energy. Much of his career was spent building hydroelectric power stations in Africa and the Far East. He now practices as the senior partner of Aeolus Partnership, offering consulting services in wind and hydropower as well as biofuels. Teal has featured in many publications and has won numerous awards including the ICE Seismic Resistant Bridge Foundation Challenge in 1995. Teal is also the patentee for a wind turbine noise reduction invention (patent: GB2353825). Teal has a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Renewable Energy & the Environment from the University of Reading.
