Biography
Catriona Schmolke has group responsibility for contaminated land related projects. She actively promotes best practice, provides legislative advice and co-ordinates environmental sector projects for the Babtie Group. She is the honorary secretary of the British Land Reclamation Society and has also been the chairperson of the Scottish Contaminated Land Forum. From 1996 to 1998 she was an honorary lecturer in Hydrogeology in the department of Geology and Applied Geology at Glasgow University. She has a BSc in Applied Geology from Strathclyde University and an MPhil in Hydro-geochemistry. She is a fellow of the Geological Society and is a member of the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy. She is also a chartered geologist and chartered engineer.
