Stuart Bell is the Eversheds Professor of Environmental Law at Nottingham Law School and a consultant to the National Environment Group at Eversheds Solicitors. He has advised on projects from the construction of hospital incinerators to the defence of actions brought under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. His clients have included utilities in the water and electricity sectors, waste management companies, chemical companies and institutional organisations such as the Environment Agency. He has advised governments in Australia and Armenia on the implementation of environmental legislation and other bodies such as the World Health Organisation and the European Commission. Stuart has written extensively on the subject of environmental law and is the editor of the Environmental Law Reports and Water Law.
