Nick is Head of SRI funds and is responsible for both SRI research and fund management. Nick leads the SRI research programme, overseeing the assessment of companies for inclusion in Henderson’s SRI funds and directing the in-depth analysis of critical sectors and themes. Nick's special focus is the investment implications of strategic sustainable development issues, such as climate change and world trade. Nick is also a member of the Green Globe Task Force and leads the climate policy work stream of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change. Nick joined Henderson with over a decade's experience in the global sustainable development and corporate responsibility agenda, publishing his first report on environmental management in European business for the Economist Intelligence Unit in 1990. He worked at the European Commission's Environment Directorate in the run-up to the 1992 Earth Summit, and then joined the International Institute for Environment and Development where he focused on issues of sustainable consumption, trade and social responsibility.
