Ambient Gas Analyzers
Model 42i NO-NO2-NOX Analyzer
The industry’s new best-of-breed, the new iSeries platform delivers on all counts - and then goes a step farther. The flagship product in Thermo’s new iSeries product line is the Model 42i NONO2- NOX analyzer. Using chemiluminescence technology, the Model 42i measures the amount of nitrogen oxides in the air from sub-ppb levels up to 100ppm.The Model 42i is a single Chamber, single photomultiplier tube design that cycles between the NO and NOX modes. The 42i has independent outputs for NO, NO2, and Nox and each can be calibrated separately. Dual range and Auto range are standards features as well. If required, the instrument can be operated continuously in either the NO or NOX modes allowing for response times of less than 5 seconds. This state-of-the-art gas analyzer offers features such as an Ethernet port as well as flash memory for increased data storage.
Features:
- Ethernet connectivity for efficient remote access
- Enhanced user interface with one button programming and large display screen
- Flash memory for increased data storage and user downloadable software
- Enhanced electronics design optimizes product commonality
- Improved layout for easier accessibility to components
Model 55C Direct Methane, Non-Methane Analyzer
Direct measurement always produces the most precise result. That’s why the Thermo Environmental Instruments’ Model 55C Methane, Non-Methane hydrocarbon Analyzer is designed to provide a direct measurement of both methane and non-methane Hydrocarbon (NMHCs). Unlike instruments that use scrubbers or catalysts to measure only methane and total hydrocarbons, the Model 55C back-flushed gas chromatography system allows reliable measurements of NMHCs at sub-ppm concentrations, even in the presence of much higher concentrations of methane.
Features:
- Complete Separation of Methane from all C2 compounds
- Automatic Span Check
- Flame out sensor and automatic re-ignition
- TEI "C" series compatibility
- Analog outputs for CH4, NMHC, THC and detector signal
- Automatic Calibration
Model 450CPulsed Fluorescence H2S-SO2 Analyzer
The Fluorescence H2S-SO2 Analyzer provides continuous monitoring, superior zero stability and is self contained. Simultaneous readings of H2S and SO2 are provided on a local display and via analog and serial outputs. Minimum detectable concentrations are achieved through the superior optical system in this highly reliable instrument. From refineries to land fills, the Model 450C is the only choice to meet your continuous monitoring needs. The long proven pulsed fluorescent design of this instrument provides the most reliable data capture in its field.
Features:
- Field programmable ranges
- Long life – stable UV source nominal life over two years
- MTBF = two years (except for pump)
- Temperature stabilized reaction chamber
- Excitation intensity stabilization
- Modular electronic design
- Pulsed excitation
- UV lamp diagnostic
- Electronic test pulse diagnostic
- Maintenance diagnostic
- RS-232 interface

Model 111 Zero Air Supply
The Thermo Environmental Model 111 Zero Air Supply is a convenient system for the generation of pollutant free "zero" gas for NO-NOX-O3-SO2-CO and hydrocarbon requirements. The Model 111 uses an external compressor; the pressure regulators, chemical scrubbers, reactor and temperature controller are all contained in a single convenient case. The Model 111 has been designed for any application where pollutant free levels of NO- NOX-O3-SO2-CO and hydrocarbons are required, with flows up to 20 liters per minute at pressure of 30 psi.
Model 49i-PS Ozone Primary Standard
The new iSeries platform delivers on all counts – and then goes a step farther. One of the critical calibration accessories in Thermo’s new iSeries product line is the Model 49i-PS O3 primary standard. Using UV Photometric technology, the Model 49i-PS is able to produce ozone at a rate of up to 5000 ppb. The Model 49i-PS is a dual cell photometer, the concept adopted by the NIST for the national ozone standard. The Model 49i-PS can operate with ozonator flow rates of up to 6 liters a minute. Because the instrument has both sample and reference flowing at the same time a response time of 20 seconds can be achieved.

Model 41c Trace Level Gas Filter Correlation Analyzer Co2
The Model 41C Trace Level Gas Filter Correlation (GFC) CO2 Analyzer measures sub ambient levels of CO2 concentrations. It combines proven detection technology, easy to use menu-driven software, and advanced diagnostics to offer unsurpassed flexibility and reliability. The Model 41C Trace Level is based on the principle that carbon dioxide (CO2) absorbs infrared radiation. Because infrared absorption is a nonlinear measurement technique, it is necessary for the instrument electronics to transform the basic analyzer signal into a linear output. The analyzer uses an exact calibration curve to accurately linearize the instrument output over any range up to a concentration of 2000 ppm.
Features:
- Gas Filter Correlation Selectivity
- Electronic Diagnostic Transducers
- Multi-Line Alpha Numeric Display
- Dedicated Communications Processor
- Remote Performance Diagnostics
- Self Aligning Optics
