4800 Controller
The 4800 Controller is an analog/digital input/output system controller with remote dial out and access capabilities. The base unit consists of a micro-controller with display; modem, AC and phone line surge protection and 24-hour battery back up. A maximum number of 72 channels can be used; however the maximum number of modules (input and output) can not exceed 6 in any combination. Industrial Scientific recommends that a fixed system application survey be completed to help provide the most accurate assessment of your equipment requirements.

RS5100 Carbon Monoxide Monitor
Industrial Scientifics’ RS5100 Carbon Monoxide monitor is an exceptionally accurate fixed-point monitor designed for even the toughest industrial worksites. Features include an extra-large LED display and optional Banshee audible alarm and strobe lights to ensure the entire area is alerted should the atmosphere exceed alarm levels. Typical applications may include parking garages, warehouses, baking facilities, steel mills or anywhere else carbon monoxide may accumulate. All parts are encased within the monitor’s 16-gauge steel housing. An internal lamp is activated when the enclosure is opened, providing visibility to the calibration controls in dark areas. All controls have been enlarged for easier access, simplifying the calibration process. The RS5100 utilizes a plug-in electrochemical sensor which is housed in a stainless steel cover, protecting the sensor from harsh environments.

Portable Multi-Gas Instruments
MG140 Four-Gas Monitor
The MG140 is designed to be a reliable, low cost gas monitoring solution in applications where the flexibility of a full featured multi gas monitor is not required. The MG140 continuously monitors the air and displays the concentration of oxygen, combustible gas, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. A 90 dB audible alarm and ultra-bright visual alarm alert the user if gas concentrations have exceeded the preset limits. A high visibility, enamel coated stainless steel case provides the MG140 with the durability found in every gas monitor carrying the Industrial Scientific label. The MG140 instrument and SP100 sampling pump carry a full two year warranty.
Portable Single-Gas Instruments
VX500 PhotoIonization Detector
The VX500 PhotoIonization Detector (PID) provides the ultimate flexibility in portable detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The VX500 utilizes a field-replaceable, plug-in detector and an interchangeable 10.6 eV lamp to monitor potentially hazardous compounds including benzene, toluene, xylene, and vinyl chloride at levels as low as 100 parts per billion (ppb).
The VX500 also offers simple one-button calibration, TWA and STEL readings with peak/hold memory, and a time delay power button to prevent unintentional monitor shut-off. Data logging features include memory for up to 1,800 readings, iButton® data input, and customizable data recording intervals between one second to five minutes. The VX500 is also Docking StationTM compatible for complete utilization of the system’s automatic calibration and record-keeping functions and is backed by Industrial Scientifics’ “Guaranteed for Life” warranty.
LKD100 Combustible Gas Leak Detector
Combining low-cost, reliable protection with maintenance-free operation, the LKD100 Combustible Gas Leak Detector offers continuous detection of natural gas (methane) leaks. The LKD100 sounds an audible alarm when the combustible gas concentration exceeds the preset level of 500 ppm. The unit will also allow the user to manually customize the alarm pre-sets for specific monitoring needs. The LKD100 is designed to fit comfortably in a shirt pocket or tool belt and is available in either a rechargeable NiMH version or with a “AA” alkaline battery. Utilizing a long-life, solid state sensor which requires no calibration, the LKD100 is an ideal, low-cost monitoring solution for any-one who may encounter or need to check for gas leaks during the course of their day, including plumbers, or police, fire, utility and HVAC personnel. The leak detector is UL approved for use in Class I, Div 2 hazardous locations.
