Magnetic Separators
The customer can choose from individual units to modular systems. For ferrous separation, Eriez manufactures an extensive range of magnetic separators, including overband magnets (permanent and electromagnetic suspended magnets), magnetic pulleys, magnetic drum separators, plate magnets and ferrite or high intensity Rare Earth roll separators. For non-ferrous separation, Eriez offers the customer a wide choice of Eddy Current Separator models to cater for the majority of recycling applications: electrical and electronic scrap, aluminium can and other non-ferrous recovery, separation of aluminium from granulated plastic or from glass cullet, foundry sand, incineration ash, municipal solid waste and tyre recycling.
Metal Detectors and Separators
The Eriez E-Z Tec range of high sensitivity metal detectors and gravity-feed metal separators, comprising a selection of aperture styles and sizes to suit most applications, delivers an answer for the detection of all metals, including stainless steel. Metal detectors are essential for conducting purity checks on recycled materials and to protect expensive recycling equipment against the damaging effects of unwanted metal.
Vibratory Feeders
Eriez also designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of vibratory feeders to handle different types and sizes of bulk or powder materials. For the recycling industry feeders are normally sold as an integral part of a metal separation module comprising one or more ferrous separation magnets and a non-ferrous eddy current separation system to ensure material cascades effectively and efficiently from one part of the module to the next with minimum product loss.
