The door to the showroom stands ajar

The door to the Orwak showroom stands ajar ready to open and reveal Orwak's latest contribution to the baler industry. Now, the first week in March 2007, Orwak launches three new models on the global market! The new models 3210, 3410 and 3810 - fresh from the drawing board and the workshop - replace the existing standard models 3200, 3400 and 3800. It is an exciting event and Orwak is happy to present the updated balers and their improved product features to the market!

Silent operation contributes to a pleasant working environment

One significant feature of the new models is the silent operation with a noise level of only 59.5 dB (A) for model 3410. To put those figures into perspective, the sound level of a normal conversation is 55 dB and that is the approximate recommended sound level in an environment, where tasks like assembly, packaging and sorting are performed. Due to progressively working valves in the new models, the shift over is soft, which means that the sound when the machines are shifting over from downward stroke to upward stroke is moderated.

Speeding up the machines

3410 and 3810 are even more efficient partners in waste compaction than their predecessors, as the cycle time, reduced considerably, is down to 35 seconds on 3410 and 3810. The shorter cycle time enables the operator to save several valuable seconds per cycle by reloading the machine quicker. 3210 maintains the same amazing cycle time of 13 seconds as 3200.

Strong on security and convenience

For enhanced security model 3410 is, like the present 3800, equipped with a “latch and wheel” locking system on the lower door. This mechanism allows the operator to gradually open the door in a controlled way even when compacting expanding materials.

The new convenient upper door locking device on 3210 and 3410 let the door to be closed simply by pushing anywhere on the door.

Compacting cardboard or plastic foil? A switch makes the choice convenient

The new models are all equipped with a new switch conveniently accessible on the side of the machine. The switch makes it easy to change the setting between high pressure for cardboard and low pressure for plastic foil depending on which material is compacted in the baler.

The new features need to be seen, heard and felt! 3210, 3410 and 3810 - the most recent members of the Orwak baler family are now entering the market!
